Based in old Portsmouth we are an inclusive family,
a place for people of all denominations, all spiritualities, all
faiths, or for those with none.
To this end, we invite speakers from other denominations and world
faiths to be with us and to speak to us at our Sunday morning gatherings.
These have become popular amongst our regulars and visitors alike.
As a family, we enjoy being together and so we have social evenings
and arrange outings to many places of interest which are within
easy reach.
If you are exploring exactly what it is that you do believe (or
do not believe) then you may well feel comfortable with us.
We do not believe in spoonfed religion and neither do we try to
convert people to any particular way of thinking! Spiritually we
are very diverse and encourage seekers to find their own paths in
matters of faith.
Unitarians tend to believe what they are able to believe and not
what they are told to believe. Some people think that we are people
who don't believe in the Trinity - it would be better to think of
us as people who don't have to believe in the Trinity or
any other doctrinal issue.
